Marc is a life-long Illinois resident, where he and his wife have raised their four children in the Chicago Suburbs.
Marc graduated with honors distinction from De Paul University College of Law in Chicago in 1986, where he was a member of the Law Review and received several American Jurisprudence Awards for his academic performance.
Before attending Law School, Marc received his Bachelor of Arts Degree and his Master of Arts Degree at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
During his first seven years of practice, Marc was associated with the Chicago Office of Katten (f/k/a Katten, Muchin & Zavis), one of Chicago’s largest firms. In 1994, he opened the Law Offices of Marc D. Sherman, now Marc D. Sherman & Colleagues, P.C.
The Firm is conveniently located in Lincolnwood, Illinois and meets clients at the Offices of Maureen Meersman in Mount Prospect, Illinois by appointment. The Firm is providing representation in Real Estate Law, Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Law, Business and Commercial Law, Wills Trusts & Probate Areas, Employment Law, and Civil Litigation.
Marc is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is admitted to practice before all Illinois courts as well as the trial bar for the Federal District Courts in Illinois and the United States Court Of Appeals For The Seventh Circuit. He has represented clients on several occasions before the Illinois Appellate Courts and the Illinois Supreme Court. In addition, Marc has represented clients in cases before the Illinois and U. S. Department of Labor, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, the National Association of Securities Dealers, the Department of Housing And Urban Development, and other administrative agencies and tribunals.

Maureen is a respected attorney practicing in the areas of residential real estate, estate planning and probate matters for over 30 years. Her private practice is located in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, where she continues in the tradition of her Father and mentor, Attorney Robert Meersman.
A lifelong resident in the NW suburbs, Maureen graduated cum laude from the University of Dayton with a degree in Criminal Justice and she received her law degree from DePaul University College of Law.
As a real estate attorney, Maureen is involved in all aspects of residential real property, including single family homes, townhomes, condominiums and co-ops.
Maureen’s estate planning practice brings her extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to the creation of Wills, Trusts and other estate planning tools and resources.
Maureen’s years of experience, strong work ethic, and the empathy she brings to her client’s circumstances make her a caring, solutions-oriented attorney in her probate court practice.
Maureen is a member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association.
When not practicing law, she stays involved in community service and enjoys travel, reading, gardening, all types of music and gathering with her friends, husband, children and large extended family, preferably by a lake.

Felicia has over twelve years of experience in the real estate industry, including experience from the lending side with a specialization in FHA/VA loans, and experience on the real estate agent side with a strong, focused real estate team.
Felicia continues to pursue her goal of expanding her knowledge base by active involvement in Estate Planning, Probate Administration, Business Transactions and Civil Litigation. Felicia is a Southern Illinois alumnus and has accomplished her Certified Paralegal Credentials.

A true native of Chicago, Felicia enjoys knitting, exploring the City while learning interesting historical tidbits (ask her about why Kimball Avenue is spelled wrong), being a mom to her human kiddo and her dogs, and cooking with her grandmother’s recipes.
