The Illinois State Bar Association Real Property Law Section suggests that our clients be reminded of the opportunity available under The Illinois Family Relief Plan, in effect since this Summer 2022, that provides eligible homeowners an opportunity to receive a rebate in an amount equal to the property tax credit shown on their 2021 Illinois income tax return, up to a maximum of $300.00.
